Inaugural Ball!
Michelle Obama picks Jason Wu as her designer of choice, Again! At the last inaugural ball she chose Jason Wu for her dress of choice. This time she is in a red floor length beautiful Jason Wu gown and also showcasing her new hairstyle, a shoulder length bob. She looks amazing with her new look as she always does.

Beyonce Kills National Anthem!
Beyonce sings National Anthem for Barrack Obama's 2nd Inauguration, On January 21, 2012. Beyonce did an amazing job, as always. She also looked beautiful while doing it. At the beginning of her performance she did look quite nervous, but she pulled it off right after she took off her ear piece, which seemed to be distracting her. Remember when we said 2013 was a Beyonce takeover? Great job Bey!

The Saturdays Perform "What About Us" on The Tonight Show

Not only did we witness an interesting interview from Hip Hop artist Nicki Minaj, but we also enjoyed an energizing performance from UK girl group, The Saturdays. The Saturdays performed their U.S single "What About Us" and had the crowd cheering. They seemed a bit nervous, but overall it was an amazing performance. Nicki Minaj Talks LaGuardia Arts High School, First Acting Gig, and American Idol

Did you catch "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno", If you didn't, you missed out on the inside scoop involving Nicki Minaj's acting career and her feud with Mariah Carey. Nicki told Jay on tonights episode that she attended LaGuardia Arts High School. She orginally auditioned for singing and acting, and got a callback for acting. Her first acting job was a show in Brooklyn, New York. She was paid $750 dollars, which is really good for a beginner. As for Idol, she was unfamilar with Keith Urban prior to idol, but now loves him. Nicki might have been hush when it came to details with her feud with mariah but, her eyes did all the talking when asked about their collaboration on "Up Out My Face", a song by Mariah, and if Nicki was a fan of Mariah's music. In better news, when Nicki was asked what she looked for in a contestant on idol, she looks for that WOW factor.

The Carrie Diaries Review
The Carrie Diaries premiered tonight at 8pm. The show is a prequel to Sex and the City being based around the teenage years of Carrie Bradshaw. Carrie Bradshaw is a senior in high school dealing with friendships, relationships, the passing of her mother to cancer, and her troubled sister. Her dad helped to give her an internship at a law office in Manhattan and in one day her life changed dramatically. She was exposed to a new city and a new way of living when she met a thief who works at Interview Magazine while shopping for tights. But more important than the bad narrating was the fashion. The show is based in the 80s but Carrie's outfits does not capture the 80s as it should. The show is not 80s enough in terms of looks but it could possibly be a hit. The costume designer of the show is Eric Daman, Check out these looks from the show!

Danielle's Worst Dressed
Debra Messing was a mess in Donna Karen. I really hope she wears something more flattering next award show
Kerry Washington was a fail in Miu Miu. I like her bracelet by Fred Leighton, but everything else was not tailored properly. This dress really swallows her and takes away from her shape.
Halle Berry.......... Anyways Halle Berry was in Atelier Versace Fall 2012. I am so sick of Halle Berry's overly sexy looks on the red carpet. This dress looks better on the runway, Halle is too short to wear a dress like this. Halle, I know you're a sex symbol in Hollywood but its time to change up your style to something more elegant.
I cried over this dress so many times. Jessica Chastain did not stun me in this Calvin Klein dress. It was badly tailored all around. I love Calvin Klein and I can't bare to see his designs in this light.
Jessica Alba is in Oscar de la Renta and while the dress looks amazing, her hair and lip color are horrid. I do love her figure in this dress but its a sad case of bad makeup and hair.
Marion Cotillard is in Christian Dior Couture. Bad hair, bad shoes, bad makeup, bad dress, nothing is right with this look. However I must admit that she is beautiful and she looks very happy.
My last is Julianne Hough in Monique Lhulillier. This dress just looks very cheap. It looks like a bunch of material and cheap beading. Did they run out of money when they got to the bottom?

Danielle's Best Dressed
Lucy Liu is the ultimate winner tonight in this Carolina Herrera gown. She is my favorite look at the golden globes. Everything about this look is perfect. She knew this dress was a statement and made sure it was the only statement by wearing soft makeup and a braided ponytail. I vote her the best of 2013, so far.
My second favorite is Isla Fisher in Reem Acra. She sparkled down the red carpet and looked absolutely beautiful. Everything is so elegant.
Another favorite is Naomi Watts in Zac Posen. I love this darker red and the train. The train made me fall in love with this dress.
Hayden Panettiere in Roberto Cavalli was a must see and one of the most talked about. She looks so mature and stunning in this Cavalli gown. I noticed she always wear mermaid style dresses and they all look perfect on her.
OH YESSS!!! Helen Mirren is staying young in Badgley Mischka Pre-Fall 2013. Helen looks so beautiful and her figure is amazing. I love that she wore this dress and still looked just as good as any young star!
Zooey Deschanel won me over in Oscar de la Renta. I absolutely adore this look!
My last is Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen. She was gorgeous! Although her blonde locks and the gold clash and she should've worn her hair up, she still pulled off this look. Her body is AMAZING!

Golden Globes Breakdown Part 3
Sparkle, Flesh, and Almost Naked!
Lets start with everyone's favorite, "Jenny From The Block", also known as "Jlo". Jennifer Lopez looks curvaceous in this flesh tone Zuhair Murad gown. Jlo wowed everyone in this skin tight number. While it was a great look on her I feel it is too expected of her to do a flash tone dress. It's time for JLo to get a new look like, yesterday!!!
Amy Adams is photo'd in Marchesa. This was definitely a favorite look of mines. She looks very elegant and beautiful. Good job Amy!
Julianna Margulies is in Emilio Pucci for the Golden Globes. This look is very sexy while still being classy. I like the sleek ponytail and red lip with the backless lace gown.
Nicole Richie in Naeem Khan was the first look I saw on the red carpet. Her look is very classy, I usually hate when stars bring clutches on the red carpet because they never get it right but Richie was spot on!
Emily Blunt is wearing a gold Michael Kors cut-out dress. She looks nice but I'm sure Miranda Priestly would NOT agree with those earrings...
Another one of Miranda Priestly's assistants, Anne Hathaway showed up in a sparkly Chanel Couture gown. Don't like the top.

Golden Globes Breakdown Part 2
Ladies In Red!
Lets start off with Claire Danes in a Atelier Versace gown. The actress looks great in this bright red gown. everything is perfect on her, her hair, makeup and smile. This is definitely the right way to do red.
*Sigh* Oh Jennifer... Here is Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture. From far away this dress looks amazing on her but when you view it from the side you'll notice the peculiar shape of her bust. This dress makes her boobs look too pointy. Other than that it was amazing, I like how she added the belt.
Jennifer Garner looks simple beautiful in his floor length Vivienne Westwood gown.
Our "New Girl", Zooey Deschanel, looks elegant in this gown by Oscar de la Renta. I loved how she accessorized with pearls and gave a dramatic, old Hollywood glam look. Oscar de la Renta is one of my favorite designers and she definitely did him proud in this look.

2013 Golden Glodes Fashion Breakdown PT 1
The Golden Globes aired yesterday night at 8pm EST. It was all laughs with hosts Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler, who did an amazing job, but also a couple of tear filled moments when Jodie Foster gave her speech for the Cecil B. DeMille award for lifetime achievements, but tonight was all about the red carpet. I am going to break down the fashion trends on the 70th Golden Globe Awards red carpet.
Blue and Black!
Blue and Black was definitely a big hit on the red carpet this time around, here our some favorites and familiar faces
Adele in Burberry. The songstress looks lovely with her new mommy glow. She also picked up the award for Best Original Song with her hit single "Skyfall"
Jodie Foster is pictured in a blue Giorgio Armani gown. The legendary actress looks great in this gown and her blonde bob. She accepted her Lifetime Achievement award with a very moving speech that brought the whole crowd to tears
Amy Poehler doing something different in Stella McCarthy. I think this funny gal looks like a winner with her tuxedo fit.
Here is Debra Messing looking not so great in Donna Karen. The dress really hides her curves and creates a very boxy shape for the actress, I would have loved to see her in something more form-fitting to showcase her amazing curves.
Eva Longoria is showing leg in this Emilio Pucci gown. The actress showed a little skin and kept her makeup light and simple. She looks amazing. By the way, LOVE the earrings!
Salma Hayek is sexy in this Gucci gown. Her curves are a big hit in this gown, she should stick to more looks like this one.
