The Carrie Diaries premiered tonight at 8pm. The show is a prequel to Sex and the City being based around the teenage years of Carrie Bradshaw. Carrie Bradshaw is a senior in high school dealing with friendships, relationships, the passing of her mother to cancer, and her troubled sister. Her dad helped to give her an internship at a law office in Manhattan and in one day her life changed dramatically. She was exposed to a new city and a new way of living when she met a thief who works at Interview Magazine while shopping for tights. But more important than the bad narrating was the fashion. The show is based in the 80s but Carrie's outfits does not capture the 80s as it should. The show is not 80s enough in terms of looks but it could possibly be a hit.
